Apple Inc is one of the largest American Multinational companies headquartered in Cupertino, California. After Apple saw good growth selling personal computers, Apple went public around 1980 and raised enough money to research, develop and sell revolutionary personal computers such as the Macintosh. After a lot of internal restructuring and innovative product focus, Apple Computer Inc., now Apple Inc. launched the iPhone in 2007 under the then CEO Steve Jobs and saw no stopping ever since.
Apple has since launched a wide range of products and services that have bolstered its unshakable growth and Apple now is one of the only few companies that have a trillion-dollar net worth, making it one of the most valuable publicly traded companies in the world. Apple has over 120,000 employees and has its presence around the world.


Apple, which announced a stock split during the second half of the year, saw a massive number of investors buying the shares due to its affordability and long term growth perspective and this is one of the main reasons that can be attributed to its 50%+ growth since the start of the year.
Apple had a strong performance in its June-ending quarter, with revenue up 11% to $59.7 billion, earnings per share of $2.58, and iPhone revenue up 1.66% to $26.4 billion (18% higher than anticipated). As of 2019, Apple smartphones account for 20% of the global smartphone market and iPhones translate to over 40% of the total sales. The introduction of 5G enabled iPhone 12 models should attribute to more sales than ever before. Apple’s product diversification into the wearable devices segment as well as other segments like Apple Care attribute to a large number of sales too, helping Apple reach new heights.
